Commentary
Commentary The medallion of this bronze bracelet bears on one side an image of a nimbed rider overcoming an enemy, and on the other an inscription in so-called Samaritan characters that may have been engraved later. Around the rider is a Greek inscription that continues on the bracelet itself, which also features a lion. The original background could be Jewish or Christian.
