Vu (in triplicate) between "the great portico and the tower of the winds" by Pittakes, according to whom the stone would have been brought to the church of the Panagia Krystaliôtissa (are of the Roman agora); found by Velsen in a private house of Hadrianou street. Altar with a relief depicting Apollo holding a plectrum in the right hand, and leaning his left hand on a cithara resting on a laurel trunk; on the iconography, see Marcadé (1977). Inscription on the cymatium of the altar (l. 1) and above the relief (l. 2-3). |
