| Commentary |
Anatomical relief (a female breast), found on the foothill of the N slope of the Acropolis. Now lost. Possibly from the sanctuary of Hupsistos on the Pnyx (see Forsén 1993 for the hypothesis of the association of the plaque with a niche).
Relief anatomique (un sein), trouvé sur au pied du versant N de l'Acropole. Aujourd'hui perdu. Provient peut-être du sanctuaire d'Hupsistos sur la Pnyx (cf. Forsén 1993 pour l'hypothèse de l'association de la plaque avec une niche). |
