Honorific epigram for the (deceased) hierophantis (Isidote), granddaughter of the Syrian sophist Isaios, teacher of Hadrian. She notably initiated Marcus Aurelius and Commodus to the Eleusinian Mysteries in 176 CE.
This inscription accompanied a statue whose erection, on the initiative of the daughter and grandsons of the honorand, was endorsed by a decree of the Areopagos.
