Found in Istanbul (Hocapaşa neighbourhood). Could be from the sanctuary of Hero Stomianos at Karaburun (see J. & L. Robert, BE 1978); Łajtar (I.Byzantion) also considers the possibility of a another cult of the hero in Byzantium. Relief depicting the "Thracian Rider". Prêteux 2005 erroneously refers to this inscription as unpublished (idem SEG 55). Trouvé à Istanbul (quartier de Hocapaşa). Pourrait provenir du sanctuaire du Héros Stomianos de Karaburun (cf. J. & L. Robert, BE 1978), à moins qu'il ne faille envisager l'existence d'un autre culte du héros à Byzance même (cf. Łajtar, I.Byzantion). Relief représentant le "Cavalier Thrace". Prêteux 2005 mentionne par erreur l'inscription comme inédite (idem SEG 55). |
