Commentary
Commentary Several doorposts from a house or religious building north-west of Aleppo (Simkhar). Two symbols accompany the text: one is a wheel, the other is unidentified. The text celebrates "Heis theos" and commemorates the one who wrote it, according to a custom that may be Jewish rather than Christian.
