Commentary Excavated N of the Katapoliani.
Sarcophagus adorned with two bas-reliefs depicting:
- a herm, a man standing, a child, a seated woman, a girl bringing a cist, and, below, a double epitaph (I);
- a horse behind a tree with a snake wrapped around it and a male figure standing, and, below, a funerary epigram (IV).
Between the two reliefs is a tree with a snake wrapped around it.
Four honorary inscriptions in wreaths: two below the first relief (II-III), one on the right of the second relief (V), and the last one, from a later date, on the right side of the sarcophagus (VI).
Sorti de terre au N de la Katapoliani.
Sarcophage orné de deux bas-reliefs, séparés par un arbre autour duquel se love un serpent, représentant :
- un hermès, un homme debout, un enfant, une femme assise et une fille apportant une ciste, avec, au-dessous, une double épitaphe (I) ;
- un cheval derrière un arbre autour duquel se love un serpent et un personnage masculin debout avec, au-dessous, une épigramme funéraire (IV).
Quatre couronnes contiennent des inscriptions honorifiques : deux sous le premier relief (II-III), une à droite du second relief (V) et la dernière, plus tardive, sur le côté droit du sarcophage (VI).
