| Commentary |
The disc is decorated with concentric lines. It weighs about 4 kg and has a diameter of about 15 cm. A very similar circular inscription is engraved on both sides (I.Olympia 240 and 241). Palms mark the beginning of the text. The inscription 241 celebrates the victory of Publius Asklepiades in the pentathlon. Both inscriptions consist of dedications to Zeus Olympios.
