Commentary	The prytaneion was built north of the civic agora, east of the bouleuterion, in the Augustan period: see Steskal, Das Prytaneion in Ephesos (2010). Le prytanée fut construit au nord de l'agora civique, à l'est du bouleutèrion, à l'époque augustéenne : voir la monographie dédiée à l'édifice Steskal, Das Prytaneion in Ephesos (2010).

Commentary

The inscription is engraved on a fragment of a plaque, and is very incomplete. It may be a decree, but the nature of the text is impossible to determine with certainty. The editors of the IK suggest that it may be the answer of an oracle about the rites in the prytaneion.
L'inscription est gravée sur un fragment de plaque, elle est très incomplète. Il s'agit peut-être d'un décret, mais la nature du texte est impossible à déterminer avec certitude. Les éditeurs des IK suggèrent qu'il s'agit peut-être de la réponse d'un oracle à propos des rites dans le prytanée.
