Commentary
Commentary Found in the Basilica of Saints Felice and Fortunato. Reused as a grave cover in the cemetery area near the basilica. The stele bears the funeral epigram of the feminine mime Basilla, which has aroused great interest. It is debated whether she stopped her career before her death, perhaps because of the Christian condemnation of theatrical professions, or not. A female bust decorates the upper part of the stele.
