Commentary
Commentary Limestone base-pilar ofa marble relief depicting the dedicant (Xenokrateia), her son (Xeniades), Kephisos and other gods, which can be identified with those whose names are listed in Source #1306 (Testimony #1688), found at the same place (as well as the dedication to Hermes and the Nymphs IG I3, 986).
Dedicatory epigram (three hexameters) to Kephisos and to the gods sharing his altar (l. 1-5), followed by a short ritual prescription (l. 6-7): "for whoever wants to sacrifice (thuen) for fulfilment of good things (epi telestôn agathôn)".
