This epithet is only attested for Zeus, in a dedication from the area of Delkos linked to the animal husbandry (Testimony #24681). Thus, it probably refers to a fenced area for the livestock (Robert, Hellenica X; Chaniotis, EBGR 2000) rather than to the court of the house (Łajtar, I.Byzantion; see Zeus Herkeios). See also Hermes Exaulios in Naxos (Testimony #24680) and Artemis Epaulia Hekate in Thasos (Testimony #17948). Albeit these cases are from quite different places and times, it is perhaps worth noticing that while Zeus is located inside the enclosure, Hermes is outside. Thus, does the situation of the Artemis Hekate in Thasos have to be considered as an intermediary (transitional?) one? (SL). L'épithète, seulement attestée pour Zeus dans une dédicace des environs de Delkos en lien avec l'élevage des bêtes (Attestation #24681), fait plus probablement référence à un enclos pour le bétail (Robert, Hellenica X ; Chaniotis, EBGR 2000) qu'à la cour de la maison (Łajtar, I.Byzantion ; cf.
