I propose to read here an integration not returned by the publishers of IGLS XV, that is the name in genitive of the god worshipped at Dweiri, Zeus Unconquered Helios god of Aumos. A dedication to this god (IGLS XV 254) is found in a wall to the west of this inscription. Finally, among the names of the dedicants there is a similar name found in the first inscription. It is not strange to find copies of the same inscription for the completion of works in the temple, as it is also in Deir al-Leben, precisely in the same years and in honor of the same god (IGLS XVI 24,25,26,27).
Je propose de lire ici une intégration non restituée par les éditeurs d’IGLS XV, c’est-à-dire le nom au génitif du dieu vénéré à Dweiri, Zeus Invincible Hélios dieu d’Aumos. Une dédicace à ce dieu (IGLS XV 254) se trouve dans un mur à l’ouest de la présente inscription. Enfin, parmi les noms des dédiants, on peut lire un même nom retrouvé dans la première inscription. Il n’est pas étrange de trouver des copies d’une même inscription pour la conclusion de travaux au temple, comme c’est aussi le cas à Deir al-Leben, précisément dans les mêmes années et en l’honneur du même dieu (IGLS XVI 24,25,26,27). |
