Commentary
Commentary The text evokes the offering of an altar and adds "with the unique image/monument of the seven springs that make children grow at their best and preserve mothers from sterility" (ama tôi heni (i)drusmati pêgôn).  It is therefore a place, linked to the souces of Barada, dedicated to human fertility, but not only, as Aliquot (2009) reminds us, referring to the Letter to Serapio. The adjective Aktipêgeos/Aktipêgaios is an hapax. Moreover, ouranios applied to Apis is extremely rare if not unique.
