Commentary
Commentary On the cippus are two divine busts, Sol and Luna, according to Aliquot, Vie religieuse (2009), p. 144, n. 108. IGLS VI, 2916, read τῷ θεῷ Ηρεσεμ Ω[π], with two otherwise unknown divine names. Aliquot proposes instead τῷ θεῷ ἦρε σεμ[ν]ῶ[ς], 'solemnly offered it to the god', which seems preferable. On a possible divine element Op, see Source # 2576.
