Commentary Adadiabos has consecrated literally the founding of the temple, not the temple itself as usual.

Commentary
Commentary The cult place of Dura Europos is therefore a branch (apheidrusin) of the Mesopotamian shrine of the god, located in Anath (Anah, Ana in Iraq). One can assume that the image of the god has been faithfully reproduced and that the relief is intended to underline this point. An inscription found in the same place commemorates the foundation of a banqueting hall in 54 CE by a hetairia of which the dedicant of this monument, Adadiabos, is a member. The god Aphlad is not well known, but he is attested in Assyria as early as the 8th century BC. He is known until the Roman period. His name means "Son of Hadad" and the dedicant is called "Gift of Hadad". In Doura Europos a god called "That of Anath" (Du'anat) is attested and could be Aphlad.
