The god of Soura is not otherwise attested. Its name refers to the town of Soura, probably the one on the Euphrates River, a hundred km north of Palmyra, but other places could be designated by this toponym.
Le dieu de Soura n’est pas attesté par ailleurs. Son nom fait référence à la ville de Souran sans doute celle qui est située sur l’Euphrate, à une centaine de km au nord de Palmyre, mais d’autres lieux pourraient être désignés par ce toponyme. |
