The expression «his god» recalls the common formula in the Safaitic and Greek inscriptions of the region: the god of someone. This index naturally directs research towards the indigenous pantheon, probably even the Arab pantheon.
L'expression « son dieu » rappelle la formule courante dans les inscriptions safaïtiques et grecques de la région : le dieu d'un tel. Cet indice oriente naturellement les recherches vers le panthéon indigène, sans doute même le panthéon arabe. |
