Commentary

Here Βοιωτίας can be a substantive ("of Boeotia") or an adjective ("Boeotian") as well, and belong to Agent #1 or to the goddess as well. Despite this ambiguity in the arrangement of the titulature, the high-priestess of the Koinon of the Boeotians is referred to (Clinton, I.Eleusis, com. ad loc.); on the cult of the Boeotian Meter, see Schachter, Cults of Boiotia 2 (1986), p. 136.
Ici Βοιωτίας peut être aussi bien un substantif ("de Béotie") qu'un adjectif ("béotienne"), et se rapporter tant à l'Agent #1 qu'à la déesse.
