This tradition of the personal god is very present in southern Syria (cf. the gods of Aumos, Maleichathos, etc.), but in this case it must be emphasized that it is a name of Greek origin, not known otherwise, which suggests a local gestation of the worship.
Cette tradition du dieu personnel est bien présente dans le sud de la Syrie (cf. les dieux d’Aumos, Maleichathos, etc.), mais dans ce cas, il faut souligner qu’il s’agit d’un nom d’origine grecque, incconnu autrement, ce qui laisse supposer une gestation locale du culte. |
