Two new inscriptions published in 1997 (Gatier 1997, 751-775) show that Seimos is likened to Zeus, as his neighbours Zeus Madbachos of Sheikh Barakat, Zeus Tourbarachos of Srir and Zeus Bômos of Bourdj Baqirha. In El-Hosn, the shrine of high place is dedicated to Zeus Koryphaios. The new inscriptions also show the preeminence of Seimos in his sanctuary of Qalaat Kalota, 7 km from Kafr Nabo. As in this case, also the inscription IGLS II, 383, wherein Seimos was associated with Sumbaitulos — a paredros or a male deity — must be regarded as the dedication of the greatest of the two temples of Qalaat Kalota, that its position in the eastern part of the Christian basilica does not contradict. The little temple was to be consecrated to the third god, « Lion ».
