	Commentary	It is rare that the word phulê is used expressly. Between the mention of the title of veteran and the indication of the tribe,we wait for an ethnic, or the name of a military unit; but not all the readings are attested either in the onomastic, or in the toponymy. We lean however in favor of a surname. The mention of the tribe and the surname suggest the recruitment of natives by Rome in its legions, as also shown by an inscription of Saleh (IGLS XVI 917). Il est rare que le mot phulê soit employé expressément. Entre la mention du titre de vétéran et l'indication de la tribu, on ne songe guère à trouver un ethnique, ou le nom d'une unité militaire ; mais toutes les lectures ne sont attestées ni dans l'onomastique, ni dans la toponymie. On penche cependant en faveur d'un patronyme. La mention de la tribu et le patronyme laissent penser au recrutement d'indigènes par Rome dans ses légions, comme le montre aussi une inscription de Saleh (IGLS XVI 917).

Commentary

The ancestral god is here anonymous, as often on the Leja and can therefore designate multiple deities. The nature of the support, a lintel, suggests that it was a construction, sanctuary or other, and perhaps related to the inscription IGLS XV 330, where the ancestral god is the well-attested God of Aumos.
Le dieu ancestral est resté ici anonyme, comme souvent sur le Leja et peut donc désigner de multiples divinités. La nature du support, un linteau, laisse entendre qu'il s'agissait d'une construction, sanctuaire ou autre, et peut-être mise en rapport avec l'inscription IGLS XV 330, ou le dieu ancestral est le bien attesté Dieu d'Aumos.
