This way of designating local gods is found throughout the Hauran, but mainly on the Leja plateau. There we meet the "god of Aumos" and the "god of Loaithemos". We know that one of the great gods of Canatha-Qanawat, Théandrios, bears the name of "god of Rabbos", which shows that the "gods of X" are not necessarily anonymous.
Cette manière de désigner des dieux locaux se retrouve dans tout le Hauran, mais principalement sur le plateau du Leja. On y rencontre le "dieu d'Aumos" et le "dieu de Loaithémos".
