The inscription refers to the construction of something (unspecified) by Zabdas in honor of the ancestral god of Akeiras if it is a genitive, or the god Akeiras if it is a dative. The drawing of Bankes given in IGLS XIV, 349 does not seem to show a final iota; this is why we have opted here for a genitive Akeira, thus the god of Akeiras, the founder of the ancestral cult.
L'inscription fait référence à la construction de quelque chose (non spécifié) par Zabdas en l'honneur du dieu ancestral d'Akeiras (si c'est un génitif), ou le dieu Akeiras (si c'est un datif). Le dessin de Bankes donné dans IGLS XIV, 349 ne semble pas relever de iota final; c'est pourquoi nous avons opté ici pour un génitif Akeira, donc le dieu d'Akeiras, le fondateur du culte ancestral. |
