Although the ethnicity of the Agents does not appear explicitly in the preserved part of the text, there is no doubt that they are Rhodians.
Poseidon's epithet rather comes from Argos in Nisyros (Hiller, Syll.3, com.; cf. St.Byz., s.v. Ἄργος) than in Argolis.
